Sally Hardcastle

Sally is a performance designer and community artist based in Harlow, Essex. Since graduating with a BA in Theatre Design from Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance she has worked with a wide range of theatre, events and community organisations.

She has a particular interest in creative making as a tool to explore place and build connected communities. She also aims to be conscious of the environmental impact of the work she contributes to.

 

Sally has 11 years experience as an artist facilitator and has delivered creative workshops in; art, design, puppet making, costume & textiles, modelmaking, creative wellbeing and creative careers for participants aged 0-93 yrs. Creativity in natural environments is a current interest and joy.

She is co-founder and executive director of Matipo Arts. Sally has a particular interest in new writing, folk culture and art as a means to unlock the power of people.
